Svean power plant

Svean is a power plant on the Nid River in Trondheim Municipality in Trøndelag County.

The power plant uses a height of fall of 55 metres from the regulating reservoir Lake Selbusjøen. Three Francis turbines are installed in the plant.

Løkaunet and Bratsberg power plants also use the water in the Nid River from Lakes Selbusjøen and Bjørsjøen.
