Sylsjø power plant

Sylsjø small-scale power plant is connected to the Nea and Nid River system that starts in Sweden, runs through Trøndelag County and ends up in the Trondheimsfjord.

The power station is located in Åre Municipality in Sweden in the outlet of the bypass tunnel from the Sylsjø Dam, and uses a height of fall of 19 metres.

The power station has one generating unit equipped with a Kaplan turbine.

The regulating reservoir for this power station is located in both Åre and Berg municipalities in Sweden.
