Cabrera Solar
The Cabrera Solar complex has four projects of 50 MW each in Alcalá de Guadaira, Seville (Andalusia), which represents a total of 200 MW, being one of the projects with the highest power generation capacity in Spain and among the most important of Europe.
The complex occupies an area of close to 400 hectares and produces around 404 GWh of energy per year thanks to 550,000 photovoltaic panels, enough clean energy to supply up to 120,000 homes, thus avoiding the emission into the atmosphere of 160,000 tons of CO2 per year.
Cabrera Solar is a project developed by Statkraft, its local partner Texla Energía Renovables and is owned by the German group Encavis AG.
