Nordics Unlimited - The world needs green data
With the ambition to highlight the great conditions for establishment of power intensive industries in the Nordics, Statkraft (Norway) has entered a marketing collaboration together with Node Pole/Vattenfall (Sweden) and Fortum (Finland). This marketing collaboration is what we call - Nordics Unlimited.
The data center market is one of the world's fastest growing industries. Some of the most common trends and challenges in this industry are the large focus on green energy and sustainability, as well as the expected increase in regulatory measures on carbon emissions and sustainability taxonomy. Luckily, this is where we have world-leading knowledge. Considering our industrial tradition and knowledge, the long-term financial and geopolitical stability, and the availability of green, fossil free energy, the Nordics are one of the most attractive locations for Data centres in the world.

Together, we attended the Datacloud Global Congress in Monaco, where we focused on providing information, guidance and advice to companies interested in what the Nordics has to offer. This year the congress had the highest number of attendees ever, and there was a clear engagement from colleagues, customers and technology providers to ensure continued development in the data center industry.
We at Statkraft aim to continue supporting the green transition in the Data center industry by #providingpureenergy, as well as facilitating the development of this growing industry in Norway.
